Not exactly a QC question, but related..

Does anyone know of a program for linux that will string together
consecutively numbered gif images into some form of animation?

  (.mov, .mpg, .avi, .flc?)

I've got a nifty little bit (okay, nearly 800 images) of 5-minute
interval pictures of my desk that I'd like to run together into a
movie. (Generally along the idea of "Look how damned little I move in
a day!" :)

Unfortunately, multimedia tools for linux are _not_ my area of
expertise.

OS: RedHat 4.0, so rpm's are OK.

  Thanks!
