This may be obvious, but no one seems to have mentioned it yet... My quickcam seems to find an appropriate light level when I set brightness to 255. Skimming over the xfqcam source, I don't get the impression this is done by xfqcam... Did I just figure out what everyone else figured out in the first five minutes of playing with their quickcam? Is my headache worse than I thought? ;) Kaj
