Sorry, I'm only new to this mailing list, but is anyone currently
reverse engineering the color compression mode (thousands of colors). 
Would there be a problem (legally) distributing source code containing
this information? I'm asking because I've just finished semester and
have got some time to do some work on this. I've been playing with cqcam
and vic for a while under linux, and would love to get a better frame
rate.
